Can we bring our own food & beverage into the center?
The Hurst Conference Center holds the exclusive rights to food & beverage in the facility. No outside food or beverages may be brought into the center.
Can we contract with an outside caterer for our event?
The Hurst Conference Center holds the exclusive rights to food & beverage in the facility. Should your event and/or attendees have specific needs i.e. religious, cultural or medical requirements, our Chef will be happy to work with you to address such needs. However, due to exclusive F&B rights and liability issues, outside catering is not permitted.
Can we bring in our own alcohol?
The facility holds the liquor license for the conference center; in which case, TABC regulations prohibit any person from bringing liquor or alcoholic beverages onto conference center property.
Can we attach signs or posters to walls?
The conference center offers high-end features throughout the facility and to protect walls and glass surfaces, attaching signs, posters or any other materials to these surfaces is prohibited.
Is security required for all events?
No. However, security officers are required for all events where alcohol is served. Facility management reserves the right to require security for other events.
Who provides audiovisual and/or production equipment?
The Hurst Conference Center will provide all audio visual and production equipment. Please contact a facility representative for additional information.
Is there a charge for parking?
Parking is provided free of charge.
Is valet parking available?
Valet parking can be arranged through the facility. Additional fees will apply.
Is there a charge for move in or rehearsal days?
Yes. Move in, move out and rehearsal days are billed at a ½ of the normal rental rate. Some restrictions apply.
Is there a fee for electrical hook ups on the show floor?
Yes. Please consult with your Event Manager.
Is smoking allowed in the building?
The Hurst Conference Center is a smoke free environment.
Do you have half day and full day meeting packages available?
Yes, please contact the Director of Sales for additional information.
Are any hotels located within walking distance?
Yes. There are four flagship hotels within walking distance of the conference center, including one directly connected to the Conference Center with over 500 rooms. In addition, there are a variety of restaurants within the Hurst Town Center.
